ABOUT ME

How did I become interested in health? My introduction to disease started early. As a child I was overweight, suffered from strep throat, flus, meningitis, severe back pain, skin rashes, eczema and my physical body started losing it's functionality in my early teens. As a child I had started to notice certain foods made me feel better than others, though I did not explore dropping the foods that weren't for my greatest good.
As an adult I developed adrenal fatigue, hypoglycemia, chronic pain for a decade, gall bladder issues and eventually intestinal dysbiosis. I have been to that place where it feels like there is no hope. I have come to realize, no matter what any one tells you, there is ALWAYS hope for better health and a better future. Along my journey I have come to realize how strongly the emotions are connected to health and wellness. Sometimes we need to face our fears, leave old beliefs and patterns behind us so we can embrace our sacred selves.
Coaching is nothing new to me, in my younger years I coached horseback riding for a decade and worked with children as well as adults. As I was working towards healing my own health issues I realized I loved sharing my knowledge with others. My friends were patient listeners while I enthusiastically shared my latest discoveries. I consider myself very fortunate to have found a career I feel passionate about.
